What happens when the bug occurs? When there is terrain in the way of Pathfinder that makes him raise up while holding the interact button for a survey beacon, after finishing, it will launch you into the sky.
What should be happening instead? Not launching you into the sky.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Stand at a survey beacon, the one that spawns on the roof of the done house in Thermal Station works well, with the area on the roof that raises, between you and the beacon, interact with the beacon having it push you up as you move over. When you finish you will be propelled up :D I have attached 2 GIFs showing the glitch happening and how you can replicate it!
