Game stuck on cantina loading screen. Any advice?

That seems more like a technical issue. Did you already complete the troubleshooting steps available HERE?

Yes to no avail. This happened after the last major update and them again when the revan event was released and it seems I'm not the only who has had the issue

Can you get your ally code by any chance (fromy our swgoh.gg profile for example)? If possible, do you have another device available where you can check if you are able to log into the game?

I'm having the same problem similar device Google Pixel XL.  Same thing happened with the last major update as well. I've tried two separate WiFi connections along with my LTE, my Ally Code is: 466-268-375

Yeah same here. Running a Google Pixel XL (fully updated) and unable to get past the loading Catania screen as well.

**UPDATE - waited on that screen for 20 minutes then the download/update finally started. Game loading normal now
