Stairs cant slot on Platforms with platform trim

Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.109.207.1020 DX9
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All except Growing Together, High School Years, For Rent, Wedding Stories, Cozy Bistro and Riviera Retreat
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Place a platform at least 2 steps high. Place any platform trim and then try to slot any staircase to platform.
What happens when the bug occurs? Instead of being able to place the stars to the platform. The stairs turn red and a small notification appears stating "Can't intersect obstruction"
What do you expect to see? To ba able to slot staircase to a platform with a platform trim.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I have never used Custom Content or mods. It seems to only happen to platforms with a trim. If I make a platform without the trim the stairs will slot but if I add the trim before the stairs or change the stairs after the trim is added then it won't allow me to slot the stairs.

I tested this and it worked.  I did have a little trouble when trying to place the stairs on a corner tile (like you show in your pics), but I did eventually get it to place.  I suggest you try placing the stair one tile over from the corner then use the arrows on the stair to widen it to the corner tile and then again to narrow it back to 1 tile.
