Will UK players be able to get update coming out today if app no longer in the store?  Despite being set to automatic downloads, as has been commented by a number of players on different platforms, you usually have to push the update manually through App Store to get download so you can start the event.  Seen one comment saying it’s been removed for housekeeping and another saying it’s disappearance is being investigated?  Can we have some clarification please and advice how to ensure all players get the update in time to do event?

@SaphireandSteel as said previously on this thread, The Sims Mobile has been temporarily hidden from the UK App Stores for maintenance. You can keep playing if you already have TSM installed, but we don't know what date it will become available again. Players who have the game app installed will get updates.

 

We will update this thread as soon as we get more information.

So I’ve got automatic updates on and still have not got the update that was due out yesterday - a little worried here! I have also invested a lot of money into this game and will be so disappointed if I can’t get this update!

Not sure how we can still get automatic updates when the actual app is no longer there?!?!? Surely it can only work on apps that are showing on the App Store?

Hi @SalixCat 

I was waiting all day yesterday for the Treasure Hunt event and it didn’t appear. So I thought that I needed an update or something for the event to appear. 
Anyways, I waited until this morning to check if I had the event in the game and I didn’t. So I deleted my sims app (recommended by people for prior bugs) and when I went to download it again I couldn’t because it said it’s not available in the UK. 
Because there isn’t a date for when the app is going to be available again... 

Does that mean I am going to miss the upcoming Valentines Events? 😭😭

Now that you have unistalled the app, go to the App Store, to the 'Purchased' section in your account and find the Sims Mobile in the list, where you should be able to download the latest version of the app.
