[Under investigation] - Seasonal task message stuck on screen

I’d like to be able to see my whole screen. This is annoying. I’ve closed it out, checked for an update and everything…still there. Is there another event that should be starting soon, and a bug is preventing it from coming up?

can’t do the last of my New Hobby quest (need to start it from couch) I click on it and doesn’t do anything. I’m going to run out of time :////

But, but, but …. What just happened? It’s gone! 

I opened a lot of boxes with Sweet treats, and suddenly the annoying «seasonal tasks» message was gone.
Thank you - whoever did what - maybe it was some of the gnomes who did some tricks

No, I didn’t check the STS button at that moment. But it’s not working now - in the sense that it doesn’t make my Sim teleport to the event.
