Sims won't leave you alone

★★★★★ Apprentice

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? Latest patch after Snowy Escape
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of them
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Just play for a few Sim days and make some friends.
What happens when the bug occurs? Most of the time.
What do you expect to see? Sims not being so co-dependent.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

Even without mods, Sims are unnecessarily aggravating. I have a full saved game with no mods or scripts activated just to test things out and it is the same with or without mods. Although there have been some things added with Sims 4 to handle traffic, phone calls, and solicitors, it is still aggravating. I have made a post before about one of my Sim's boyfriend not only calls her all the time and comes over all the time, he even shows up to her work (she's a doctor) and bothers her at the hospital! Like stated in my previous post, this boyfriend of hers will be in her living room, at a Thanksgiving party, talking to her and other guests, and my Sim's phone will ring and guess who it is? It's her boyfriend on the phone asking her on a date WHILE HE IS STANDING IN HER LIVING ROOM TALKING TO HER AT A PARTY!

A perfect example of how ridiculous this can be is another Sim of mine is dating (casually, nothing serious) Marcus Flex. Now, if anyone is familiar with Marcus, he has the Noncommittal trait which means he has slower development with jobs, relationships, etc and gets bored and uncomfortable if he is doing the same thing or with the same person for too long. This is either not programmed correctly or my Sim must have a love spell on Marcus because he is OBSESSED WITH HER! He calls her EVERY DAY and asks her out or to an event or he comes over to her house or asks if she wants to go to his every single sim day! They barely have a quarter of the pink bar and he acts like a love sick puppy!

My sims have even gotten two or more phone calls at once that interrupt each other.

There should be no reason to get events, visitors, and phone calls all at once every Sim day. Sims will even call or come over and knock on the door while my Sim is at work. Is there a way to make a "que" for phone calls and visitors where they do not overlap or interrupt each other? Or a way to make phone calls or visitors "pause" if you are at work or otherwise engaged in another event like a party?

@DDWard1972 and this is different from your old thread ? Still sounds similar or the same.

Similar but even more has happened with overlapping calls and visitors.

@DDWard1972 This is your old thread: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/Stalker-Boyfriend/m-p/9779766

Feels like you already reported the overlapping phone calls in another report as well but that could of course been someone else.

@DDWard1972  Do the Stalker boyfriend et al have apartment/house keys?  They'll randomly show up wherever your Sim is (at home, at work, etc.) if they have a key.

I took away the stalker boyfriend's key but he still shows up at the hospital from time to time. In my other game,  Marcus is acting like a love sick school girl. I even said for us to just be friends and he STILL calls, texts, asks on dates, and comes over to my sim's house every sim day. I still get random calls that happen while my sim is at work or I have her at an event (like the Romance Festival) and she gets like two or three calls trying to get her to do other things while she's at the festival. I know you can click off of them, but it's like "leave me alone. I'm in the middle of doing something already!"

Just a quick add to this, there was a mod that not only silenced your phone but blocked calls altogether if you "Silenced phone" in the options. Sadly, this mod no longer works; however, if a third party modder was able to create such a script, surely EA can check it out and make something similar in a future patch easily.
