Sims won't do tasks

My sims will randomly stop completing task and will not do any new tasks that are assigned. They will still do idle movements but will not move from their spot or do anything with their inventory.

@crinrict Hey. I have this issue too. I got the game about 2 days ago and I have base game, no mods, no cc. I am on Mac. Please help.

@ithkortney you can try to reset your Sim by using testingcheats true and then using resetSim <Firstname> <Lastname>.
