Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Sims task bar will randomly appear "empty", but will not proceed to the next task even if needs NEED to be met to survive.
What happens when the bug occurs? Sims will complete a task, like woohooing for a baby; the current task bar will appear empty while upcoming tasks stay queued up, like use the bathroom or eat leftovers. Sims do not proceed to next queued task or new free-will task; they just stand there until they die unless the game is reloaded.
What do you expect to see? Sims to complete current task and immediately proceed to next queued task or free-will need.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. 12/7/2020 - the update that made it possible to age up using the birthday cake again.
This bug happens at least once a day (IRL) and usually to adult sims, but I've seen it happen to toddlers and kids as well (not sure about teens).
Additionally, at random times of gameplay all sims (AT THE SAME TIME) will trash their queued task bar... I cannot find a reason for this. There are no life changing events (like a sim in labor or a fire on the lot) taking place when this happens.
