Sims maxed out skills glitch

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Not sure
What happens when the bug occurs? I've been playing the prehistory challenge and I started this game about a week ago. My characters has vampire and werewolf traits despite not being either. They run like werewolves and get vampire moodlets. I was willing to look past this until randomly after painting for the first time my sim maxed out most skills in the game, i say most because wellness was still on 1. Half the skills she can't even do I'm on a prehistoric lot. Its sort of ruined my challenge.
What do you expect to see? I would like the game to no give normal sims werewolf and vampire traits and also for skills to be earnt and not randomly maxed out.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. I updated the game before playing. it was an EA update and i couldnt play without it.

@JessicaEastwood Could you share some more details where you got the Sim from ? Downloaded from the gallery ? Ingame born ? Created in CAS yourself ?
