Sims 4 unresponsive to use input after speeding up time

How often does the bug occur? Rarely (0% - 9%)
What is your current game version number? 1.69.57.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Island living, cats and dogs, holiday celebration
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Look at sim and go into 3x speed
What happens when the bug occurs? Game no longer responds to any input from the user. Unable to slow down game with keyboard or mouse input, unable to open the pause menu or go into build mode as well as moving the camera around
What do you expect to see? To be able to slow down time, move camera, open menus and what not
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

I had left sims open over night and came back to play and finish up the building I was editing in edit worlds and when I had my sims wake up after sleeping to eat the bug happened. I couldn't close the game normally so I forced it to close.

@Elevenda Did you test this without mods installed ? Does it happen on every save or just a certain one ? If it's just a certain save, did you have a Winterfest on that save before the lastetet patch ?

I have never been able to experience this again with or without mods and its only on this one save (since this is a newer save) and I haven't been doing any winterfest stuff so I have no clue what caused it.

Is it a specific household ?
