Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? play the game?
What happens when the bug occurs? No interactions/commands completed. Sims don't move. Can't interact with infants, can't do homework, write term papers, give presentations etc.
What do you expect to see? To be able to play the game. The sims do not follow commands or interact with infant
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. Issues started after I installed High school years + Discover university and even more after the last game update week of 7/20/23
I've had constant glitches since the most recent update and after downloading High School years + Discover university.
Game overall: I now can't get sims to complete interactions or commands. They do not interact with infants at all. The commands just go away. They will not complete homework or eat for high school years. Once I downloaded discover university after, they cannot complete homework, write term papers or work on/complete presentations so they end up failing.
What I have done: I've removed all Mods, cleared cache and the localthumbcache.package. I've repaired and updated the game. None of that worked so I've now uninstalled the game and redownloaded everything. My mac is up to date.
I've tried to open a case to report a bug. It was closed. I've chatted with customer support and was referred back to the forum again. I am hoping someone can provide some input or I've just wasted hundreds investing in a game that cannot be played.
I know I can't be the only one who finds EA Support to be not the best...
