Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play sweet treat challenge in parkside.
What do you expect to see? Sweet treat challenge should not be locked and sim should not be locked. Fix the bugs (this has been an issue since at least 2019!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) Everyone affected by this issue should be compensated to make up for being cheated during this event.

I played sweet treat challenge. Completed and won the attempt. Afterward, sim cannot be retired or attend parties as they are locked into the sweet treat challenge event. Can start other events, but sims energy bar shows as being in round 2 of sweet treat challenge instead of showing normal energy bar. Actions for current event not showing up properly, so new events cannot be played properly either. No other sims can play the sweet treat challenge.

This issue has been happening for players since 2019!

@SalixCat Yes, forfeiting unlocked my sim and the event. That's kind of annoying, considering I actually won that challenge and the fail rate is very high unless you pay to win.

@prettiebony It hasn't happened again. I had to forfeit the challenge to unlock the event and my sim.
