Sim Can't Enroll with Cheat

★ Novice

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.79.93.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? City Living, Discover University, Realm of Magic, Get Famous, Seasons, Cats and Dogs, Laundry day, Get Together, Fitness Stuff, Get to Work, Vampires, Dine Out, Bowling night, Vintage Glamour, Movie Hangout, Romantic Garden, Outdoor Retreat, Spa Day, Cool Kitchen
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? drop a sim out of college and cheat to reenroll (?i think??)
What happens when the bug occurs? He goes to the dorm he is supposed to but his classes aren't under the career tab. The only thing it says is, "Join a career" and then it kicks him out of university again.
What do you expect to see? his classes under the career tab
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made.

I tried to have these twin brothers go to college at the same time, but with the first one, I moved him into a dorm I didn't like. So after moving the second one in, I had the first twin drop out and I attempted to reenroll him using the cheat where you right click them. Yes I typed "testingcheats true". (I have also tried the repair option on origin) But nothing would get him to enroll. He has an acceptance letter and every time I try and cheat to reenroll him he goes to the correct dorm but there is nothing listed under the career tab. Instead of listing his classes like his twin, it says "Join a career". And when I click on that it thinks he's dropping out. I really don't want to play the brothers a term apart so I'm waiting or playing without saving for now when trying to attempt to find a way to fix it..

HELP!

@DawnMPa Does the re-enroll work if you don't cheat ?

There's this issue that's been ongoing that could be the same issue: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/NEEDS-INPUT-DU-Can-t-re-enroll-properly-after-Suspension/td-p/...

I played it for an in game week as the brother already in university, and when I went back to check if the first twin could now enroll it still said he dropped out recently and couldn't. Should I have played the one not in college? It doesn't give me a timer or so and so has this many days left before he can enroll so I'm not sure how long I need to play for.

@DawnMPa

I haven't tried the cheat to enroll but I have had one drop out and had to reenroll.  As best as I can figure out, there is a sort of cooldown between leaving University and when you can enroll again.  And that time only seems to count when you are playing that sim.  So playing the one that is not in University is the way to go.  Check the mailbox or computer every day until the enroll option returns and you should be able to get the sim back in University.  But since you have played the other sim, you should finish the term with that sim.  Otherwise, they might fail the term and get him on suspension.

Hope this helps.

@DawnMPa I think it should be about a week and it shouldn't matter who you play. If it didn't re-appear it does sound like the other reported issue and it's very possibel that the cheat just messes it up more cause the game doesn't really recognized that the Sim could re-enroll.
