Shooting enemies randomly doesn't show shield indicators.

What happens when the bug occurs? Shooting an enemy bring up damage numbers, but will sometimes not show the shield indicator when the enemy has a shield. Also will randomly pop up with a shield indicator while this is happening. I.e. shooting at an enemy and hit them for 20 damage with no shield indicator while still shooting the next 20 damage will have a shield indicator.
What should be happening instead? If the enemy has shield health and you are inflicting damage the indicator should be shown.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? shoot people. Usually gibraltor or caustic.

I've seen reports of this myself, I think it may be related to the fortified passive.

I haven't seen this myself, but I know we're looking into it.

Since the new patch I’ve had numerous encounters (pretty much all) with caustic and gibraltar where, when you hit them, it doesn’t show a body armor icon. This would suggest they don’t have it or when you know about this bug, leaves you clueless about the kind they have.

I’ve been having the same problem on console using pathfinder, lifeline and bloodhound. Hopefully this gets fixed soon

What should be happening instead? Arm shield should have a consistent damage amount or takes and a set recharge time or condition

Is this a bug, or exploit, that when shooting Caustic I'm seeing red (aka flesh) hit markers, instead of the appropriate shield colour.

When the 'shield' is broken, I then see white shield impact effects instead of red flesh hits.

I think I've seen the same happen when shooting Gibby too.

Something I'm not understanding? or has the 10% damage reduction patch broken something?

What happens when the bug occurs? When you shoot Gibraltar or Caustic when they have full armor, the damage numbers show that you are shooting their flesh, but the sound is like you are shooting armor. It's really confusing
