@EA_AticWow okay. So BY DESIGN - we are to be killed by a single MG/SMG round without any other indication that we are taking damage and no chance to respond to it? This seems like bad design to me.
"I can clearly can see the instant death ... and it was working as intended." - EA Atic
This explanation doesn't satisfy me at all and just reinforces my understanding that there is something majorly wrong with the design of the game. Based on everybody that I've talked to about this issue I would suggest that you revisit the "intended" design of this and stack damage correctly.
I'll stop reporting the issue but please know that the community doesn't like it and thinks it's a bug (since it's unfair and unlike how the rest of the damage normally stacks).

See the problem with the graph is it has to be enabled when you are hunting down the bug or its just distracting. I wish there was a way for it to run in the background and each round have a link to an external recording of the graph by time stamp or something. That way, say for xbox players like myself I just tap the record feature and the video shows has plain text below the game time with a short url for the devs to correlate with the video.
Any how, we can dream I guess....

Occasions of Insta-Death have increased since the last update. Not sure if this is more "Intentional game design" or not but it sucks.

Im playing with he graph enabled all the time. You can decrease the size very much so it doesnt obscure more of the screen than the mini map. I also experience the one frame thing but I also see that it is indeed the correct amount shots/damage hitting me when it happens so its not ONE shot that is killing you. It only is experienced as one shot.
However playing with the graph enabled has raised some other questions for me like seeing a shotgun using slugs are hitting me 2 times on one shot. Confirmed when a friend played on the enemy team and this happened several time. each time he said he shot one time. I got 2 hits in the graph. Also when he changed to the other shotgun where he use buckshot I was several times hit on a distance of 35m or more for 158 dmg + 120 dmg from his buck shots. So ever wondered how that shotgun just pwnd you from distance, thats why. Why 2 pellets can do that much damage from that distance is ridiculous but Dice got to Dice. Im sure they think its balanced...
Playing with the graph on is great to see and learn how the weapons work and how much damage they actually do to you. And when you see that lewis gun user for the 3rd time is landing 4 consecutive head shots within 0,4 seconds from 150m, you also know its time to change server :P

@Adman_TorIt's happening on every hardware I've ever used. 5 years ago it was MUCH worse. I uploaded this on YouTube also. I even saw this on smartphones.

Confirming that after some additional testing that INSTA-DEATH instances have increased SIGNIFICANTLY. I had one of the worst gaming experiences of my life this morning.

At least try to read and understand the explanation that have been given to you by more than 1 person.
You are not being insta killed by 1 bullet and if you bother to enable the network graph you will see every single damage done to you.
You will then see that that its never one bullet insta death unless its a headshot from sniper, a shotgun in play, your health is low enough for one bullet to kill you or its explosives.
Its been explained to you already and you can easily see it yourself following the guide in this very thread so why keep insisting that its insta death?
The only bug here is that some times all the hits are reproduces at the players screen in one frame making it look like an insta death. The reason for that can be everything from your computer, to the internet stability between you and the server to the server itself.
As someone who often plays vs friends I can tell you that every time one of us experience this the shooter does not. Its only only at the killed ones end and the shooter can always confirm many shots where fired and its backed up by the network graph.

@Adman_TorHey brother. Do you still encounter this issue after the update?
My fps is way more stable but i still get 1 shotted by certain players. I think they must be SO SKILLED like GODLIKE SKILLS that they have special powers I cannot acess as 'just a human'..... At least... That's what ive been told. I have no skills LOL. Like im the truly only player that gets 1 hit in the bfv universe... Getting abit boring and old.
Or is your 1 hit issue fixed?
Edit: I hope yours is fixed, I uninstalled mine just 5 mins ago. It is a terrible experience all together. Choppy fps again when artillery or smoke gets dropped... Moving on to a real competitive game soon.
Bye.

@XNeo31It doesn't surprise me that the insta-death is still in the game after the 4.4 patch. If you read above, EA_Atic replied that it is INTENTIONAL game design. So basically the designers intend for us to be killed by a single bullet without any chance to respond. I don't expect that it will ever be fixed since it is not a bug but INTENTIONAL.
I have NO idea why they would want the game to be like this but that's how it is.
I haven't played the 4.4 update as I gave up BFV weeks ago. Won't ever be coming back to it either. Best of luck to those who decide to continue on but you won't see me on the battlefield any longer....

This has worsened since the 5.2 patch and occurred several times in the last few hours. It’s by just one enemy solider.
Any one else seeing it?
I’m also suspicious of being shot around corners. There have been a couple of odd deaths today. I will have to play more to confirm.
