What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? I have the free digital copy of Base game, desert luxe kit, and a on disk copy of Cats and Dogs.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I walked up to a sim I did not know in Brindleton Bay and did a greeting. This was my first time meeting this sim I am not related too. After the greeting I got the sentiment "Closer from Happy Memories".
What happens when the bug occurs? I gain a sentiment for others My sim has next to no time spent talking to in there whole life.
What do you expect to see? No sentiment gained until I spend more time with a person. Im not "Closer from Happy Memories" the verry first time I meet a person.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I have had the game on PC/Mac and PS4 for a while. Off the top of my head I think I have seen this happen on all platforms.
