Self publishing whilst reading my book

It was probably a dumb thing to do but I had my Sim multi-task: reading his own book whilst taking it to the mailbox to self publish. The book got sent off half way through him reading it but he continued to "read" until he was finished. Now he walks around as though he is still holding the book but is unable to put it down because it has gone in the mail! Consequently he can't go to sleep in bed, get in the shower etc! The book is not physically present to click on but his hand posture is as though he is carrying it around. He is exhausted but can't sleep... it must have been one good read!

Send the sim onto another lot (park, gym, museum), the book should unstick.
