@FantasiaOnVHS Hi, if you go to the game's folder, right-click it and choose to Run as administrator, does this change anything?
The file that stores such settings is kept on your C drive, perhaps the game is prevented from writing the file, and hopefully running as admin will help.
Thanks, let us know how it gets on.

Hello David
It seems the whole problem is that the game does not save it on the C drive at all.
There is no battlefront 2 folder in 'my documents' like battlefield 1 or 4 does.

I'm having the same problem

Got it figured out. I had moved my documents folder to my D drive a while back which caused issues but I never thought anything of it. But this game was the worst offender and I figured I might as well try to fix it. Unfortunately it wouldn't let me reset to defaults on the file location so I had to reset my PC. But now that the folder is where it should be everything works great. You may want to try resetting you computer to make sure everything is where it should be. You will be able to keep your personal files but apps and games will need to be redownloaded. Hope this helps.

Same problem here, I have to set my settings and star cards loadout each time I sign in...
I had this problem in Star Wars Battlefront 2015 and it wasn't fixed either. Fix it now, because it's way to annoying.
Thanks for reporting!

I've tried running the game as administrator, but the bug remains

Same issue here, game installed on D, documents on D.
Fix it or we need a refund, this is utter BS.
