[SE] Routing issues while attempting group-sledding

★★★★★ Guide

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? Русский язык
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? 1.68.156.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of them
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Ask a sim to sled together
What happens when the bug occurs? If sims choose the first sledding path (the one with "hills"), very often they will fail to sled because something is "blocking" their "route"
What do you expect to see? Nothing blocks them, thus it should work!
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

8 times out of 10 my sims are unable to sled together because of the routing issue. Annoying as most of the bugs in the game.

@rostsit With the same sim or different Sims ?

Any vampires, umbrellas, spellcasters or restaurants involved ?

Tried many different sims and families.

Yes, vampires and spellcasters were involved, though I've tried to turn off teleportations, this changed nothing. I can't tell now exactly if there were any combos with just non-occult sims.

Umbrellas can't be used there as there never rains.

And what do you mean by restaurants?

@rostsit Vampires use umbrellas there.

There's also known issues with familiars present.

@crinrict Understood, thus I confirm that no restaurants were/are involved.

Also, my mages weren't using their familiars.

I can completely confirm this. Using the beginner hill together (no matter if skiing or sledding) with npc sims or groups does not work. The played sim will do fine, but the others are blocked.

@crinrict I am also having a similar issue. But with me, in-game when two sims try to sled together down the bunny slope, the sled does not spawn so the sims cannot sled down the hill together.

IT won't let my sims sled together, They act like something is in the way.

Same problem I'm having. Is there a fix?
