[S] Scout badge after doing homework once (instead of 5 times) [ Edited ]

Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.90.358.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Everything up to and including High School Years
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? - have a child sim enroll in Scouts (after-school activity). Check badge progress to confirm that progress is (0/0) on all badges. - have child sim complete homework once
What happens when the bug occurs? - sim receives Scholarly aptitude badge (in-game notification, can be collected on the scout board)
What do you expect to see? - sim does not receive badge after only one instance of the activity - progress for the Scholarly aptitude badge is advanced by one (1/5)
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. I remember this working correctly in my legacy save before the (1.90.358.1030) patch & HSY expansion install.

Verified this in a new save created after HSY install.

Verified with genius child sim and cheerful child sim.

Din not test with teens.

I have not tested other badge progress because I suspect it's caused by changes to homework that came with HSY.

Was there another reason you tagged it as PH that I'm currently missing ?

This is still happening on version 1.99.305.1020.

The issue seems to be that the badge achievement doesn't actually count if the qualifying interactions (various forms of homework) have been completed 5 times.

It instead counts how many 15-minute intervals a sim has spent in one of the qualifying interactions.

If a sim spends 75 minutes doing homework, the badge will be achieved.
