Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a fire.
What happens when the bug occurs? If there's a garden sprinkler on the lot, and there's a fire, there will also be an automatic sprinkler system set *inside* the house. Yes this is a minor and old "bug"? But it seems counter-intuitive. (I'm working on a legacy where I'm trying to achieve as many death types as possible, so I let a fire go unattended. To my surprise, a mysterious ceiling sprinkler put out the fire, despite having no ceiling sprinkling system set up.)
What do you expect to see? The fire inside the house not put out by a garden sprinkler outside.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
