Roommate Race Quest Resets

Product: The Sims Mobile
Platform:Android Phone
List the specific devices you play with (e.g. iPhone 6s Plus, Samsung Galaxy S7) Samsung S10e
OS Version i don't know.
Player ID: (Find your Player ID in Sims Mobile: https://help.ea.com/help/the-sims/the-sims-mobile/find-your-player-id-in-the-sims-mobile ) 1005657709449
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Do the Rommate Race Quest.
What do you expect to see? Once you've completed the quest or part way through, the quest will restart from the beginning, requiring a 6 day wait til you can try again.

I have played the Sims Mobile game and have been working on the Roommate Quest. The quest has reset twice on me now. I don't understand why it has done this. The first time I think it was because I changed my one Sim's career but the second time I didn't change anything! 
 
Specifically, I had completed the last task and instead of the third slot for the roommate opening up, the quest reset and it says I have to wait 6 days before I can start it again.
 
I have a case pending to be addressed by an advisor or consultant or whatever they're called. Does anyone at least know how long I can expect to wait before I get help???

Oh my God, is that the type of service I can expect for my request? She's in a special queue and it has take over a month??

 

So is there any way to get a refund of my money? I'm not happy with the product because it's clearly defective and the customer service is, in my humble opinion, subpar. What does it take to get either a refund or help???
