Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? By clicking on the right side arrow, and then the envelope for Messages, and then clicking Check and Earn Rewards!
What do you expect to see? Rewards due to owning TS4 on PC

Additional feedback I own TS4 on PC, and I have already entered my telephone number and followed the link received via text. I have received the portrait reward in TS4, however, I have not received the Sims Mobile rewards (bear suit, etc.)

Best thing would be to contact an EA game advisor about this issue.
You can do so through The Sims Mobile app. Open the side menu, choose the gear icon, then the button with 'Help'.
This will open your browser, scroll down until you see 'Contact Us' and choose 'Technical Support'.

Having the same issue, however I have not even received the ps4 reward or rewards in mobile game. Purposely purchased the sims4 to get rewards.... and nothing. Hope we just did not get suckered

I don't think the PS4 is connected to this reward, from what I remember it's PC only.
