First off, I removed some of the information you had provided as it was personal.
Unfortunately we do not offer refunds for instances where we changed certain aspects of the game play. The studio is aware of course that the implementation of Mods changes the experience for the game and they are still tweaking the ins and outs to make it more appealing to everyone.
From my personal experience from playing the game, I will say that the idea to implement customization via Mods seems to be a good one. It will take some time however to further tweak the experience to ensure that all game content is balanced.
Why is it a good idea? It allows for new strategies to develop around certain character combos to even further improve on their strengths or work against their weakness. Especially in Arena, this allows for new ways to building teams.

As an aside, I would suggest to just be conservative with mods for now and see which tips and tricks emerge so that you can focus on mods that will last you for a long time.

I feel your pain. I had a customer service rep agree that EA was basically taking 10$ from me and giving me 5$ back. She couldn't do anything though because the manager and specialists didn't have a process to return the crystals I lost. I quickly went from "love this game" to "this games frustrating" because I lost the crystals to "not really interested in the game because EA doesn't care". I really liked the game too.

Played swogh since 2015, I also spent over £1,000 on my account but it got banned due to offenses made which was not my fault, debs set me up with a new account but this didn't get me to 5% of where my old account was at. I refuse to play this game no more. It's been a very bad experience with EA games. Will never buy another title on any format from ea games again. Just hope people stand up to bully companies like these and stop buying there ripoff titles. Yesterday I cancelled two pre ordered up coming titles from ea, and honestly feel quite happy knowing I'm making my stand against them.
