Receiving an invite just after or in game gets me stuck on ''initialising''

Where did the issue occur? Returning to the lobby after a match
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. I was taken to the main menu and stuck there in the ''Initialising'' bug.
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. In game actions don't seem to be affecting this, it happens whatever i am doing.
Did your squad mates also experience the issue? Yes
How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? Amount of matches makes no difference, as I can be invited at anytime.
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) Started a couple of days ago
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
How severe is your issue? Minor impact to gameplay
What happens when the bug occurs? If I am invited during or just after the end of a match, upon returning to the lobby I will be taken to the main menu. From there it will start to say ''Initialising'' but will not let me back into the game, It will keep looping the ''initialising'' process. Or sometimes I will just be kicked from the game and sent straight to the main menu's ''initialising'' bug, without being able to finish my game. It is not caused by Accepting or declining the invite, as I don't respond to the invite and I still encounter the bug, the issue is just with being invited itself.
What should be happening instead? I should be finishing the game, going to the lobby and deciding whether or not i want to accept the invite.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1. Go into some games, hope that a teammate invites you just after it finishes and you will encounter it. 2. Go into a game and have a friend invite you from their lobby, you will either be kicked out to the main menu and stuck in the ''initialising bug'' or the same thing will happen but after you are finished in the game instead.

I have attached screenshots of what happens, first the ''Token'' message and then being stuck on the ''initialising'' loop.

The looping will not stop unless the game is restarted, but once I'm in the ''Initialising'' loop bug, the game will not respond to being closed down unless I force close it with task manager.
