Rank resetting to Rookie / Users gaining 0 RP

Two weeks in and only one tweet from anyone. Respawn or otherwise. Rank is still unplayable for a LARGE PERCENTAGE of your player base. This is just bad business imo.

What happens when the bug occurs? Currently lost 400rp in Diamond 2 lobbies (now down to Diamond 2). Hours of my time down the drain because of a bug. Game loads in freezes on the countdown, I’ll close app quickly or wait or turn off my ps4. After I reboot I’m in a party/lobby with my teammate and can’t do anything but accept a 10 min timer and -141 rp
What should be happening instead? Please give me the RP back, I didn’t even get to play the game

So I’ve downloaded apex legends on my pc and I’ve played 2 games, I won my second because I have experience from console, but I haven’t earnt any xp… I’m literally stuck at level one. How do I fix this??

Only more than 2 weeks into this gamebreaking issue and thousand comment official thread, can't be a big of a deal right? It's not even a little bit fixed, nor compensated RP to anyone, nor ranked queues disabled for the time of an issue to avoid further damage. Also complete radio silence for the last week. It's just a terrible shame that they can afford it. They shouldn't get away with such things so easily.

@SinhrophazoTron update came few days ago, i think the derank bug is fixed now.

They are just going to pretend like nothing happen.

0 compensation for the rank lost or the time lost ranking up again.

To be fair, it isn't even their fault, it is the fact that no big streamer or pro player cares since they get their rank back up fast again.

Sadly, our voice can only be heard if someone big talks about it which it didn't/won't happen.

Hi, for clarity I'll repost the tweet from before again. 

The actual rank loss should no longer happen, but there can be a visual rank loss, where you're told you deranked but didn't actually. 

Also there will be an RP restoration for those affected.

Edit: The restoration was applied. However if you have progressed past our previous position you won't be reset as this would roll you back.
