Users receiving wrong rank after season reset

yes my rank says 96 now after a few games but I was Silver 3 before reset and gold 3 last season so I know it was not from new season rank loss

happened to me as well from plat 2 to rookie 4

same here, dia3 first split plat 3 second split of last season, got silver 2 as im supposed to get, played few games and then all of a sudden welsome to rookie 4, but the worst part is the game thinks I am smurfing because of my MMR and all the players I get in rookie 4 are "smurfing" as well, that is what makes it flustrating because I cant even get out of rookie that easy, and to be fair I dont feel like grinding in the lowest rank in apex.

@spacecat1160 Same thing happened to me. When the new season started, I was Silver 2. After playing ranked yesterday, it was all fine. Then today, I left a ranked game since I only got 1 teammate and I’ve noticed that I am now in Rookie 4.

Hey @dhatpoggie,

It looks like there's an issue with the rank reset, but the studio is working on a fix. Hopefully they'll find the solution soon.

same thing happened to me. I dropped from gold 2 to rookie 4

@XHelperZ I’ve had the same issue since release date of the new season and the day after (today) when will they fix this?

Can confirm it on my end. Just started playing my first games of the season, and all of the sudden, while joining a game with friends, my Rank was set to Rookie 4.
Even without loosing a game or being reset in any way. It was just a random change of my rank. The friends I was playing with stayed in their current rank..
