Prompted for Google Play Account at Launch - Connection Lost, "Reload", Loop

What type of device are you experiencing the issue with? Oneplus 6T

What type of issue do you have? Network/Connection
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Summarize your bug When loading the game it does not automatically recognize my google play account. When prompted, I choose my google play account associated with my ally code and then I get a Connection Lost error with an option to "reload" and the game restarts and goes through the same process in an infinite loop.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Look at what's going on with android devices trying to connect to the game through google play accounts.

Country Canada

When loading the game it does not automatically recognize my google play account. Hi @TashAureus and sorry to hear that.

 

The ally code you've provided doesn't bring up an account. Can you double-check if it is the correct one, please? We've just checked and had no issue loading into the game on various Android devices with GooglePlay accounts.

Thanks for the ally code @TashAureus, that one worked.

 

Looking at our internal logs it logs like the Google authentication service is not responding for you. Not sure what might be the problem with it in this case, but it doesn't appear to be widespread. We keep digging to see if we can narrow it down.

@TashAureus unfortunately, not that we are aware of.

 

One thing you could try is to remove the GooglePlay account from the device, restart the device, and then add that account again to trigger the authentication once more.

I am having the exact same problem, and it's gone on for over an hour.  I've tried restarting my phone, clearing the app storage/cache, reinstalling the app, trying on wifi and on data, and removing Google play access for the app. Nothing has helped.

me as well cant get in coming up with the same message? whats goong on right should contact google support for this issue?  other games are not having this issue atm Ive already tried
