Progress bar for gaming rig disappears/not showing up

Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.82.99.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Everything but Journey to Batuu
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Buy either gaming rig and have a sim use it autonomously. Doesn't matter if it's the non-unlockable rig, they both still do this
What happens when the bug occurs? The progress bar disappears either after a while or doesn't appear at all, resulting in that sim being forever stuck on the rig
What do you expect to see? The progress bar to not disappear and for sims to stay on it until the time is up, otherwise they're stuck on it forever unless you reset it
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

All I have left to say about this bug is that it's been happening for probably over 2 years now. It wasn't that bad then, only disappearing from time to time, but now when one of my sims gets on it, the progress bar doesn't appear. I usually use the locked rig by using cheats to unlock it. I then decided to try the cheaper one, and I was getting the same issue. Since I may be the only one that has this bug, there probably is a chance of it not getting fixed. Could be mod-related, but since most of my mods are up to date, I have to assume it's on ea's end. Not blaming anyone here, I just want to know if anyone else is having this happen and if it could finally be fixed after so long. Thanks in advance.

@3m0k1tty Did you remove all mods, deleted the localthumbcache file and tried on a new save ?

Bug really need to be tested on modless games to make sure it's not a mod.
