Problems with Force Powers [ Edited ]

What is your issue related to? General
Summarize your bug I've noticed that - since the last patch, perhaps? - Force powers sometimes do not work as intended. The opponent is not blocking, and there is even a hit marker, but no actual effect. Also, there is a really bad cancellation effect when two opponents use powers at around the same time. Sometimes the game plays your animation, sound effect, environmental effect, and power range marker, but nothing happens.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Easiest to spot in HvV. Try utilising Force powers against other Force users. I mostly noticed this "no effect" glitch against Kylo and Vader in particular, but it's not exclusive.
What happens when the bug occurs? There is a hit marker for the Force power, but the character is not actively affected.
What do you expect to see? Them bois to fly away.

First clip, right at the end, repulse does nothing to Vader. Clear hit, and not even a stagger. Also, I thought it was possible to dodge Force powers, not just block them, I don't entirely understand how his choke got me.

Second clip, also at the very end. Kylo's pull gets Lando, but has no effect whatsoever. He's just like "yeah no thanks" and walks off, lol.

(Sorry for these 30-sec clips where nothing important happens in the first 25 seconds, but xbox live gold is not on my own profile, and it doesn't let me trim without that...)

Also, if you're playing as a Blaster Hero, try shooting while under the effect of Kylo's Freeze. It will be possible for like two seconds before the effect even ends.

That force abilities sometimes don't register is a bug that has been here since launch. There are many reports of it and the community is very aware of its existence. However, there hasn't been any progress on it to solve it (as far as we can tell).

It seems to be a problem that the game doesn't register properly if opponents are in their active field. If there is one little pixel in the path, then the force ability registers no opponent and therefore doesn't do anything. 

I really hope this glitch can be figured out.

The fact that you can shoot while you are under the effect of force like freeze or choke is incredibly frustrating for force users, especially with the new nerfing of lightsabers with extra stamina cost. All lightsabers are super easy to kill now. The whole game is designed to overpower them, even in loading screen, you have a message how an avoid is super effective against lightsabers and with people reading the forums, they know the tips how to use it right. ...A wild Vader appeared... Han Solo used avoid... It's super effective...

Yep, seen some before - some very old threads, indeed. However, I've never noticed it before, not even one glitch, for me, this only started to happen since the last update.

Agreed. Hadn't noticed it until the latest update. Shooting while being thrown was new. Watching the scene fly by kept me from noticing if the blaster was hitting anything. Not sure it is a glitch. Imagine the correct version. Your finger on the trigger and you are then frozen. It would make sense for the trigger to remain down.  And if it were aimed at a target, all the better right? (From the freez-ees point of view.)  GLHF

Another clip with Kylo, now against Han Solo.

I mean... This is the worst one yet. Again, Force Pull has no effect, and right after that, he dodges out of Freeze - which only stops him in neutral stance, not even in the regular "frozen" fashion -, and away from me.

As of today's patch, players can still shoot while under the influence of Kylo's freeze. The no-effect bug still happens aswell.

(I know that nobody stated that this was going to be fixed now, just giving a heads-up.)
