Problem on starting up the recent event (Oct 13)

Product: Apex Legends
Platform:PC

AMD or Nvidia Model Number Ryzen 3 3100

What is your gamertag/PSN ID/EA Account name? Nevsu
Please provide your squad mates' gamertag/PSN ID/EA Account name if possible. non
Are you using any software with an overlay? No
Which Legend were you playing (if applicable)? Last legend I used was Loba
Which Legends were your squad mates using (if applicable)? none
Where did the issue occur? In the lobby (waiting area before the match)
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. I was in the main lobby trying to play the game as usual.
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. Logging into the game
Did your squad mates also experience the issue? I don't know
How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? I played for 4 hours the night before the update.
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) Oct 14 - Oct 15 (currently)
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
How severe is your issue? Major impacts to gameplay
What happens when the bug occurs? I log into the game, it gets into the lobby for 3-5 seconds then it Crashes.
What should be happening instead? I should be able to play the game without it crashing like normal.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Log into the game

I already tried to Verify integrity of game files on steam but still does not work. I also tried reinstalling the whole game and it still did not work.

Thanks for letting us know what your seeing in Apex, Can you try the follow if you haven't and let us know if this continues?

 

  • Run the System File Checker tool then check for device and driver updates
  • Run Apex as an admin
  • Verify Time, Date, Langauge match your region
  • Run your device in a Clean Boot then try to launch the game.
