Playing as a Tenant and the Game Will NOT Register That I Paid my Rent

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? EVERY SINGLE Expansion, EVERY SINGLE Game Pack, EVERY SINGLE Stuff pack, Every Kit except for Simtimates Collection, First Fits, Moonlight Chic, Carnaval Streetwear, and Modern Menswear
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Through gameplay?
What happens when the bug occurs? I'm playing as a tenant. I paid my rent and the game will not register that I paid it.
What do you expect to see? I expect to see my rent is paid and my stuff isn't being taken by the property owners because it didn't register that my rent is paid.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

I was playing my game and I hit the pay rent button on the mailbox. It took the simoleons. The next day it said I have 24 hours to pay my rent. I've restarted the game. That did not work. I have not had mods or CC installed since the update/patch on December 5th. Please fix this. Thank you.

@ChantieDoesit There's bills and rent. You're sure that it was the rent the second time too ?

Just ruling out that option.
