Player switching issues

Summarize your bug It's a major issue, happening with everyone. The control only switches between PG and SG and no one else in case of playing with Sharpshooter lineup. The SS coach is bugged. Rest style lineups are fine.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play a match in any mode using SS lineup.
What happens when the bug occurs? Control switches just between PG and SG.
What do you expect to see? Control should switch between all the players depending on whoever is close to the opponent having the ball.

To your query, it's being widely reported and I have escalated this issue to the EA community managers team. They will mostly send this feedback to the higher authorities to implement a change.
I know it's a really urgent issue and I'm trying my best to get it worked out.

UPDATE: Currently users are seeing an issue with defensive switching. We are aware of the issue and are looking into the matter.

Yes I hope it gets solved. I’m in the playoffs right now, and the opposing teams are getting easy buckets because of this.

It’s my understanding that the inability to switch with Sharpshooter lineup was an intentional change - it’s EA’s version of a zone defense. So I’m confused why EA reps here are trying to get the “mistake” fixed. It’s clear with recent app update EA did this on purpose. This change is horrible and ruins most players’ favorite lineup.  Please undo this change.  No one likes this - it makes gameplay wildly unpredictable, not fun, not enjoyable, and frankly frustrating AF.

Here’s an idea — take a poll in twitter - keep the Sharpshooter non-switching or undo it?  

(personally I’m royally pissed at the nbalm team for not thinking it through. Literally no one I know is happy about this unwise change)

They had tweeted 26 days ago saying they're aware and looking into it, not sure when it will be fixed.

@TheScholarAM Yeah. They did make some moderate Improvements with yesterday’s app update, but I’m guessing since they didn’t do anything to Sharpshooter switching that it is represents EA’s version of a some defense. It isn’t a zone & renders Sharpshooter basically unusable.

Sure would love to get some clarity on this precise question - does EA plan to restore normal switching to Sharpshooter lineup? This impacts which cards we work towards.

I'm having the same issues with switching on arena. It's super annoying. Please fix!

Just for your information, this board has three categories,

General discussion is for any gameplay advice, discussion, feedback, etc.

Technical issues is to report any problems with connection, payment, and in game Issues.

Bug reports is to report any bugs that are annoying and have then looked after.

PLEASE NOTE:EA had officially acknowledged this issue on twitter, as there were many reports.

Unfortunately, it has been about 60 days since that message, and about 100 to 120 days since it was first reported , and it still hasn't been fixed.

To get around this issue you may:

• Use any balanced coach in your ultimate and sharpshooter coach
• Avoid using sharpshooter lineup to play showdown/arena.

Hope this helped you, there's nothing more we can do atm.
