I previously left a question thinking that the physique bug only affected characters I created or edited, but now I'm finding that the bug affects the whole draft class or any created player. If you go far enough in Franchise mode, ALL THE PLAYERS LOOK EXACTLY ALIKE. A 314 lb lineman looks like a 240lb linebacker or 200lbs Running Back. There is no difference besides the height of each player. I can see this becoming weird and annoying if you decide to play Franchise long-term.

Franchise Bugs On Madden 24 Editing Opposing Players And Player Model Issues

★★ Apprentice

In Franchise Mode on Madden 24 it will not let you edit another team's player to change their appearance. As in the option isn't available at the bottom of the player info section under edit player. It is available on your own player but that leads me to the other issue and that is the physique/model of players that are auto generated do not look right especially the offensive and defensive linemen. They look really small compared to the real NFL players that are in the game. Then when you go to edit them it doesn't change no matter what you do with the physique sliders.

DRAFT CLASS BUG IN FRANCHISE(physique issues)

★★★ Apprentice

Product: Madden NFL 24
Platform:PlayStation 5 Digital Edition
Which console generation do you have? Sony PlayStation 5 Digital Edition
What is your gamertag/PSN ID? TaiJack316
Date/time issue occurred August 14, 2023
What type of issue do you have? Gameplay
Which mode has this happened in? Franchise Mode
Is your Franchise league a Cloud save or Offline save? Cloud
What is your Franchise League Name? I deleted them all(cloud and offline) because it kept happening
Summarize your bug Every single player in the draft class is shaped the same. I can’t edit them. Their arms are the same size. The linemen are the same size as my other players. There is no reason a 340 pound lineman should be the same size as my 200 pound running back
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go to franchise mode. Go to edit draft classes. Click on a player, go to edit appearance and use the sliders. You will notice they don’t work or even save.
What happens when the bug occurs? The players all look the same and we cannot edit their appearance
What do you expect to see? Edited appearances with the ability to customize unique body types as we were able to do in the Beta.
PS4 Crash Reporting: Please copy the text you put in the crash report here.
What is the AMD or Nvidia Model Number of your graphics card? I don’t know where to find this
Enter RAM memory size in GB It’s telling my my GB size is 667.2

I filled out the form above. My player body types aren’t being edited. It isn’t saving and it leaves everyone in the class with the same size body. I thought this would get corrected with this mornings update.

★★ Guide

I'm having the same issue. Importing a custom draft class will cause the same issue to happen as well.

So from what I can tell right now is if you import or download any draft class causes the glitch to happen.

Same issue, trying to edit the physique in ANY mode, even the creation center. Try to give Justin Jefferson jacked arms as a good example. They don't even change when you move the slider. It's sad. IM sad.
