What is your gamertag/PSN ID/EA Account name? Grey_wrld

Are you using any software with an overlay? No
Which Legend were you playing (if applicable)?
Which Legends were your squad mates using (if applicable)?
Where did the issue occur? In the lobby (waiting area before the match)
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. The lobby trying to make a party
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. Waiting for my name to populate
Did your squad mates also experience the issue? Yes
How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? 0

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
How severe is your issue? Major impacts to gameplay
What happens when the bug occurs? I don't register in my own party. I can not play with other friends,join their party,or host my own. It shows party 0/0
What should be happening instead? I should be able to invite other players to my party and load in together
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Load in

When ever I load in,my player name does not populate, it only says "player", my party says 0/0, I can not send invites or join other parties and it happens every time. I have reset my game, internet, and application multiple times, and have even completely deleted it and reinstalled to no change.

Can we try running through some troubleshooting steps to see if we can help fix the issues you've been seeing? A good place to start off would be with the basic connectivity steps over at the EA Help website.

@EA_Kent I tried all but it did not change the results, it's not a connectivity issue.

Thanks for giving it a shot! Can we also try changing the DNS on your PS4 as well to see if that helps? I've seen some cases where using a different DNS can make a difference with issues like this as well. 

 

To update the DNS follow the steps below: 

 

  1. Open up the Settings on your PS4, then go to Network. From there go to Set Up Internet Connection, and select either WiFi or LAN cable depending on what you're using. 
  2. Select Custom > IP Address Settings (Automatic) > DHCP Host Name (Do Not Use) > DNS Settings (Manual) 
  3. Enter the Primary DNS as 8.8.8.8 and the secondary DNS as 8.8.4.4 -- This is the public Google DNS, but if you would rather use a different public DNS that's OK as well. 
  4. Select Next > MTU Settings (Automatic) > Proxy Server (Do Not Use) > Test Internet Connection

@EA_Kent The problem is still there even after changing the internet settings, I can only play when I'm not partied up,and that's after 15 minutes of waiting for my profile to load

Thanks for giving it a shot. 

 

Do you have access to a PC on the same network as your PlayStation? If so, can you try running a UO Trace when you have a chance? That will give us a detailed look at the connection between your home network and the servers, so if anything is happening along the way we should be able to spot it.
