PS4 - crash when opening inventory

Where did the issue occur? In a match
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. By the bridge that goes from Repulsor to Hydro dam
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. Tried to open my inventory! I have experienced crashes when opening inventory many times. The game becomes unresponsive and the screen just ‘hangs’. Eventually I get a PS4 error code.
Did your squad mates also experience the issue? I don't know
How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? 3 I think

How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
How severe is your issue? Major impacts to gameplay
What happens when the bug occurs? Screen hangs - can’t do anything and Anne essentially freezes. Eventually (a minute later?) I get taken to a PS4 error screen.
What should be happening instead? There should be no crash...
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try opening your inventory on PS4?

I am reinstalling my game right now to test it. I got the same issue. Ps4 pro. Game crashed three times so far. Always. While opening the Inventory.

This has happened to me at least a dozen times now. It has happened at every instance where my inventory opens. Looting a death box; swapping an item on the floor for something in my inventory; just opening my inventory. Once it happened 6 times in a single day.

It sounds like some local files are damaged/corrupted. Can you try a reinstall and check again?

Also, can I check what language you guys are playing in?

Hey David. I played about 10 games since I reinstalled. All with lifeline. No crash so far. I'm playing with the German localisation. I keep you updated.

Another 10 games. With different characters. No crashes. Problem seems to be fixed for me. I'm curious for op's experience.
