Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? City Living, Vampires, Vintage Glamour, Backyard Stuff
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Allow smooth transition between cursor mode and selection mode.
What happens when the bug occurs? The cursor mode and selection mode are both being controlled at the same time.
What do you expect to see? The UI work as it should.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

I have the exact same problem! Thank you so much for showing how you fixed it in the video! If it happens to me again I will definitely try to do what you did. Still, I hope this gets fixed soon. It's very annoying

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? None
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Not sure- happens when I’m in live mode as I try to “schedule” actions for the sims. The left thumb controller starts to effect two areas of the game- the cursor and the right bottom menu. I lose control of the cursor and it prevents me from moving forward in the game.
What happens when the bug occurs? I lose control of the cursor and it prevents me from moving forward in the game. The left thumb controller gets stuck on the bottom right menu and I can’t gain access to the cursor to schedule sims actions.
What do you expect to see? I expect to gain access to the cursor and schedule the actions like typical game play.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
