[PS4] Social Events Not Allowing Guests [ Edited ]

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Social events planning
What happens when the bug occurs? I plan a social event, select the ‘Guest’ button, attempt to invite more than one person by pressing the ‘x’ button. The menu takes me out of the guest screen, having invited the one person I was able to select. Am I missing a control? Or is pressing the select button how you usually select more than one person before selecting the tick in the corner to take you out of the menu? I am unable to select any more than one person.
What do you expect to see? Selection of more than one person without being taken out of the guest menu.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

What happens when the bug occurs? I try to throw a house party but when I have to invite sims over it will only let me select 1 sim. You have to have a minimum of 2 invited.
What do you expect to see? I should be able to invite multiple sims to a party
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.

I saved the game, exited to the main menu, closed the application, relaunched and loaded my save and it's working properly now. The skill metre that was stuck on my toddlers head for days has disappeared too.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? When setting up any kind of "party", 2 guests are required but I can only select 1 from the list of (currently 10) known Sims.
What happens when the bug occurs? Can only pick 1, 2 are required. It prevents continuing
What do you expect to see? To be able to continue with the game funtion.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.

I'm trying to have a birthday party for my Sim turning from teen to young adult. You are required to have 2 guests. I can only select 1 guest from the list. There are 10 people to select.

glad it was more useful than i expected. I’ll also mention i’m playing base “deluxe party pack” on a non-pro PS4 with no other add ons. i have a pc account on the same associated email address, and you’re more than welcome to delve in my game data if it helps to sort the issue.

Me too! It's really frustrating to spend money on these expansions and they are a glitchy mess! I still cant believe this issue still has not be resolved and its an issue with the BASE game no less. I pray to god it not a "Buy Get Together expansion pack" to fix this issue...im so done with EA
