Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Leave the home lot while a sim is at work, possibly just before the sim at work is supposed to be promoted.
What happens when the bug occurs? The sim at work when you left the home lot will not actually leave work and have all their needs decay while you are off lot as if they were at work still, but they are at the home lot. When you return to the home lot, the sim will show they are still at work when they are at home. Telling them to leave work does not work at all and you have to reload the game.
What do you expect to see? Sims properly showing at home when they are in fact at home and not at work.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
I notice this happening most when the at work sim is supposed to be promoted. When I reload the game and thell the "working" sim to leave work early, that's when their promotion goes through. The sim being listed as at work does also happen for regular work days without the promotion.
