Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Restart the game entirely. Why you have to: the game still thinks you're on that property meaning that you cannot select another property or go back to the property were in.(At least I think, just an educated guess on my part.)
What happens when the bug occurs? When you go to merge two families together.
What do you expect to see? No cursor just the town background.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
This happened after my sim was able to ask a random generated sim to move in together.
