[PS4] Cursor being stuck on an invisible needs screen, forcing inaction.

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Sony Playstation 4
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Romantic Garden City Living Vampire Life Holiday
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Click on a usable item in the world, or a part of the task bar (inventory, needs, etc...) after a certain length of time playing Sims 4.
What happens when the bug occurs? After an indistinguishable length of time, the inventory screen or needs bar sticks (not in the sense of a person keeping it static as in pushing in the R3). When it does so, it forces any actions the user takes to go back to the mini-screen on the bottom right, making it impossible to perform actions. Eventually, the needs/inventory screen disappears, but the cursor drags back to an invisible lower right spot. In regards to the needs, though your ability to see your needs has disappeared, it still shows the icons of how to fulfill needs (hygiene, hunger, etc...), when you try to click on unrelated items in the world. When you click on the phone or certain items, it only gives options to move there. The only thing you are able to do reliably is save.
What do you expect to see? I expect to be able to click on an item and be able to interact with the item without being trapped in an invisible needs screen.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

There is no set length of time to play in this game for the bug to occur. It's happened before and after multiple patches and expansion packs.

Hello @rmclark12184

Thank you for reporting your issue. We will investigate this at our end.

I have something to ask you though, would you be willing to record a video next time the issue occurs to you? If so, instructions are here:

https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/INFORMATION-How-to-Send-User-Files-to-The-Sims-4-Team/m-p/6065...

That will help us a lot trying to pinpoint the root cause.

Thank you very much!
