Out of bounds message displays and kills you when in a playable area

What happens when the bug occurs? The Character as they are touching any solid surface on the ground,Building,Etc gives you the out of bounds warning no matter where they are and you have 30 Seconds Before You Die Instantly
What should be happening instead? Not This
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Land on Drop ship before it reaches it's final destination and drop off there are also other bugs of trying to pick up a downed teammate on the ship and you both start clipping through walls and flying in one direction while in the animation of a rez.

There have been a lot of reports of the same issue, so I combined all the existing threads into this big one. If you stumbled upon this thread, here is what most often happens:
1. Player gets on the flying dropship when in the game. Or player interacts with the dropship.
2. Dropship goes over some mountains and the Out Of Bounds (often seen here as OOB) starts counting down from 30 to 0.
3. Dropship leaves mountains and timer goes away (or stays in some cases).
4. Players drop down from the ship and suddenly the timer is back to 30 and continues to count down while running on the playable ground.
5. When the player jumps, the timer stops for a brief moment.
6. Player eventually dies from the timer. After respawn of teammates, the timer starts again at 30.
The bug is currently investigated by the devs, as is visible on the dev tracker here.

What happens when the bug occurs? After landing on a supply ship, the countdown timer that says "RETURN TO MAP" popped up and began counting down. It did not stop after leaving the supply ship, despite being in a normal playing zone. My teammate respawned me 3 times. The first two times, I died instantly upon touching the ground. The third time, I didn't die instantly, but the countdown timer started from 30 seconds as soon as I touched the ground.
What should be happening instead? The normal playing zones should not cause my character to die for being out of bounds, let alone instantly kill him with the timer at 30 seconds
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Everything I remember doing: Play Caustic, unholy trinity skin Drop ASAP onto a supply ship Drop several nox gas canisters, pick one up and relocate it Go up and down the levels of the ship several times Some equipment but no gun pickups Jump off the supply ship in an attempt to not be out of bounds Die
My teammate said over discord that he also had the out of bounds timer while on the supply ship, but he did not have the same issue where it persisted upon leaving the ship. I don't remember having a 3rd squad mate in the game, I'm not sure he loaded in at all.
