Sweet Treat Challenge bake off start button unresponsive

I can’t play the bake off as well. I have not retired any Sims. I am using iPhone.

Have you been able to play any bake off challenges  this time?

Could you try retiring a Sim and trying a challenge with a new one? 

Do you have any Sims with pink plumbob that are not doing any work,  career or relationship shifts?

I am using iPhone 6 Plus, Software version 12.4.3.

I am at part 6 of 8 with the bake off challenge.

I like my sims and don’t want to retire any of them yet.

None of my sims are doing anything at the moment. I have 2 green and 1 pink plumbob

You say one of your Sims has pink plumbob. Even if your Sim is apparently doing nothing, can you please try to see if "forfeit" a challenge is an option for this Sim? This has worked for someone who had same problem as you.

There is no option to forfeit. The bake off button doesn’t work. Here is no option at the sofa. And there is nothing going on at Parkside.

When I got my pink plumbob sims to do something, the option to forfeit showed up. Bake off is working now. Thank you.

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Sweet treat challenge button won’t work. Can’t start a challenge. There’s just no action when clicking on the start button. All 3 challenges are already loaded and I can’t play because of this issue. The events “home sweet home baking”, “posh pastry class”, and “flavor lab” are working, only the challenges have this issue.
What do you expect to see? I would expect to be able to start a sweet treat challenge when clicking the start button if the challenges are full loaded and the button available to click. I’d expect at least an action when clicking that button. It’s just not working when it used to work perfectly and i used to be able to play the challenges.

Additional feedback I hope this can be fixed. It’s a bit annoying when I was focusing on the sweet treat this time and all of a sudden stoped being able to play it. Thanks for your attention. Looking forward for this issue to be solved ASAP. Thank you ‌Ps: this happens even with all my available sims free from any events. Checked on that too

Have you been able to do any bake-offs in this event?

Have you tried to start a bake-off this time with all your playable Sims?

Are there any pink plumbobs on top of your Sims showing they are busy with work, hobby, etc.?

@n1n3ty4 Also, what happens when you send your Sims to the park? Can you start the bake-off there?
Could you please attach some more screenshots that can illustrate this issue?
