[Open] - Party timer won’t reset [ Edited ]

I have to collect rewards from a party that was year ago multiple times a day. My timer goes down and instead of a new party, the timer just resets to 7 days. When looking through forums, I’ve seen this bug has been around for years Please fix this!

This is an alternative solution used by players to reset the timer. It was shared on this post last year. 

"I tried and failed the first time because left the app before starting the party and it was already back in to the loop when reopened practically immediately. But the second time i succeeded. I ended up being able to choose to have a party by putting a timer on my phone for exactly the moment the party timer ran out and QUICK throwing a party. I was in the game when the timer ran out and chose to throw a party right then and there. It seemed to reset the party and it has been working now for the last few weeks. I Don't know if this will help anyone."

@SalixCat Thank you for posting! This solution doesn’t work for me as my party restarts at 2am while I’m sleeping.

@ChristelClear04 I understand. That's the real challenge for many of us as we can't just stay awake in the middle of the night to reset a game functionality.
