[NEEDS INPUT] Wall style patterns stretch on corners causing seam problems

[ Edited ]

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? n/a
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? On an empty lot, draw a room. On the level above it, draw a second room that extends out from the first. Ex) ground floor room 3x3, upper room 5x3. Apply a wall style with a pattern, such as Pinstripe Grains, to the exterior of both rooms.
What happens when the bug occurs? The game extends the corner of the room beyond the grid line for the square and stretches the wall style to accommodate the extra distance. The stretched wall style no longer aligns with the same style above it (because that tile of wall has not been extended and meets the grid line as expected.
What do you expect to see? I would expect to see either 1) corners not extending beyond the grid and thus no stretching of patterns would occur or 2) pattern behavior altered to not stretch but rather add one more (half) repetition of the pattern to fill the extra space.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

Here is an image of the issue; grid lines are turned on to show how the corner piece is extending beyond the grid lines for its tile and so that you can see how the pattern for its style gradually stretches, going from left to right:
