[OPEN] [W] Missing CAS items, wrong names and more after editing Werewolf [ Edited ]

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Enter CAS - I import a werewolf (or multiple) from the gallery (including my own sims which were made a wolf in Live mode). When I come back from the beast mode the CAS clothes, scars, hairs etc. will not appear for the human form. Names are also wiped and "sim 1" etc is all that shows.
What happens when the bug occurs? I am unable to edit my human sim, including their name/pronouns. All traits and aspirations are wiped.
What do you expect to see? I should be able to see names, clothes etc to edit my human sim form.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. Installed werewolves.

Very disappointed with this. It's making it impossible to make wolves.

I've encountered another CAS werewolves bug. After choosing the styled looks on my female sim, I can now not get ANY cas assets to pop up. For instance, in the picture, I clicked shoes and nothing appears, same for all other categories. Nothing seems to fix the issue....It also broke CAS for the second sim in the household. When I switch to him, his cas is also blank, as in, you click shoes, shirts, pants, etc etc (in human form) and no clothes pop up on the right hand side. This is a REALLY horrendous bug......

@sammyantha_21 Working fine for me. Did you delete the localthumbcache file after removing the mods ? Maybe try a folder reset and a game repair ?

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Just plop a werewolf into CAS and try going into paint mode for the werewolf then exit back out. All the CAS items will have disappeared.
What happens when the bug occurs? All the CAS items disappear
What do you expect to see? when I switch from the werewolf form back to the human form in CAS the items in the CAS bar disappear

Me and a few other people have noticed when we switch between the werewolf and human form on the werewolf sims in CAS after using paint mode that the category bar for the outfits and CAS options is still there, but all of the items will randomly have disappeared. Only exiting out and going back into CAS fixes it. Attached photos of what it looks like.

Yes I had this, I thought a mod was causing it, but I removed all mods and it was still an issue.

Same for me. No CC or mods. Going from Sim form, to werewolf, then back to sim form in CAS causes this issue for me.

Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199

You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files  and make a backup.

After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.

Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.

• Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
• Tray Folder
• Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
• Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave and no longer needed - if you still have it)
• Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
• ConfigOverride, if you have your own configuration files.
• Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)

The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.

I have the same problem, and my wolf appears with the tattoos and looks ugly :c

Having same issue here, in both ways: entering into CAS as human will not show werewolf CAS, entering into CAS as werewolf will not show human CAS.
