Hi EA Games, Maxis, Devs. I'm back. Today is April 21. I have waited 1 year 5 months for the fix of this bug. The last patch, April 16, didn't do anything for my game. Well, let's wait again.

EA, this needs to be fixed as well as all other occults bugs out there before Fairies comes to us... dont release another packs if the others are broken...

Just had this happen to my Vampire the other night. Tried to get them to run with Vampiric Speed and they just kept jogging in human speed. 

Can you guys please stop ignoring Occult fixes? Occults are what makes this game playable for some of us, and when they are constantly buggy, it just makes me want to close the game and play something else. Most of the Occult packs worked wonderfully when they released.

Exactly. What pisses me off about occults bugs is the fact they weren't broken to begin with. They broke everything on the way and never bother to fix it. Instead they "fixed' amusing bugs like creating hybrids. Those were fun and unharmful, but no, they get rid of those and left the most outrageous bugs intact.

Indeed. Like, could it be any more blatant they don't care for occult players? They don't bother to check whether their updates break them and when they do break they don't bother to fix them. For me occults are like the ONLY thing that keeps the Sims relevant over other upcoming life sims. Because none of those other titles (as far as I know) have talked about occults and are instead going for something that pleases realism players. The Sims instead still has something different to offer... but I'm losing my patience so please show some effort.

This bug, along with other occult bugs (like transform animations being broken with HSY) are still going in my game as well.

Why should EA bother fixing things when they can just wait for a Modder to take enough exception to it to fix it themselves.  I just got the fix to the weird teleportation issues that have been built into Vampires from the beginning from the modder simvasion.  So now I guess I'm looking for a mod for superspeed too, cause I was just taking note of that not working myself.  Two years after the original post.

Just to keep this thread going, this is still an issue. I tested with my werewolf that have several issues, including, exp bar stuck and cant get xp anymore after reaching max level. Only two werewolves have this issue amongs all but hey this is worth mentionned, I will create other threads for these issues, please be on the look out, occult players, it might be for you and encouragement by ''me too'' would help our cause...

 

-Werewolves superspeed is broken, they use superspeed on lot they are in only, then proceed to run normally if they are commanded to go somewhere in the world, instead of using their superspeed. (this thread)

 

-Werewolves XP bar stuck, cant progress anymore. (I will create one, be on the look out folks, thank you)

 

-Werewolves on their beast form, will proceed to ''mark territory'' after using ''ferociously go here'' interaction, rather than just run on their four paws... thats odd and should not happen. I dont know why they pee when they arrive on the spot. (I will create one, be on the look out folks, thank you)

 

-Werewolves cancel any interaction queued, when being directed to ''dig''. You cant queud this interaction, so your werewolf perform many digging interaction on different spots,they will just cancel all of them, and go to the last spot you told them to dig and proceed to do it. (I will create one, be on the look out folks, thank you)

 

-Vampires and occult in general I think forget their ways of transportation, where as soon as you play another family, they forget their prefered travel options.. if you previously selected to walk normally and not use their bat form teleportation, or mist or superspeed, once loaded back into the household, they will be back with the bat form or superspeed way of transportation... which is very annoying.

Hello EA, I´m back: I have waited 1 year 9 months for this bug to be fixed. 

 

I've lost all hope: how could you possibly fix this bug if you are unable to prevent devastating bugs in your free patches and newly released packs?

 

I haven't played in over a year, always waiting for this bug to be fixed or for a pack to get me excited enough to ignore that my vampires and werewolves are broken.

 

Lovestruck seemed like that pack (greetings from Mexico City). A couple of years ago I would have happily bought it. But now the game is more broken than when I stopped playing.

 

YES, I haven't played for over a year, nor have I purchased anything from EA Games, a company I can no longer trust.

 

I'll be back, maybe EA will fix this bug and stabilize the game. Then I'll be able to play what I already paid for since the day the Sims 4 were released.
