Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a sim family with toddlers
What happens when the bug occurs? When you hire a nanny and go off the lot with an adult sim, the toddler will be sent to daycare.
What do you expect to see? The toddler remaining at home with the nanny
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

Went through all the trouble in hiring a Nanny only to have your Toddler get sent to
Daycare? More than a schedule conflict I imagine having the Nanny show up and there
is no Toddler so what does the Nanny do in this case? Do they leave? Do they stay and
wait? I must know… However, This should no longer be an issue.

When I call a nanny for my kids and toddlers and then leave the lot, I get a meesage that the toddlers have been sent to daycare. What's the point in hiring a nanny, if the toddlers will still be sent to daycare?

Can you explain a bit more about what happens when you get the message about the toddler being sent to daycare?
When your Sim leaves the lot do you follow them? Or do they leave for example to go to work etc?
I don't use a nanny very often unless there is not a teen or older on the lot.
That could be why I am not seeing this happen.

Are you playing on PC/Mac or Console?
If you use them try removing (not disabling) mods / cc and delete the localthumbcache.package and any other cache files.
Test the game to see if the issues are still there.

call Nanny service when sims are planning to leave lot. Nanny shows up then baby goes to daycare when sims leave. Nanny shows up when sims return to lot. Started happening when installed tiny living stuff pack

This just happened to me. I play on a PS4 with no mods or custom content and I have all packs installed. My two parent Sims wanted to go out for New Year’s Eve so I had the dad Sim call and hire a Nanny. The nanny arrived on the home lot, both parent Sims introduced themselves and chatted with the nanny for a bit. Then I had just the two parent Sims travel to a bar lot. As soon as they arrived at the bar lot, I got a notice in the top right corner of the screen that says “Nani has been sent to daycare.” I took a photo of my screen and attached it. You can see right below the notice about the toddler being sent to daycare, is the notification about the nanny being hired. ???

Have you tried traveling without hiring a nanny first?

For me, if my adult sim(s) went traveling to another lot, there'd going to be a pop-up asking if I want to send the toddlers to daycare or hire a nanny. I usually pick daycare since they gain skills and needs. So I haven't tried to hire a nanny yet.
When I had tried to hire a nanny in the past, my sims never really went anywhere... so I haven't seen this bug yet. I also don't have Tiny Living.
Maybe try not hiring a nanny on the home lot, then go to your desired location, then look at the pop-up and choose Hire a nanny.

Then what happens?
