To anyone experiencing the issue and want a break from it, if you take your sims to a destination world from jungle adventure or outdoor retreat, it does not happen because eco lifestyle gameplay does not happen in these worlds. Meaning the exercise NAP will not affect these worlds Standard smile

Re: how do i get my sims to stop randomly doing pushups?

@EmeraldLaura IDK if it's a bug or just part of the new NAP nonsense. But as people have said on any of the threads about this issue, it's nearly impossible to complete ANY tasks or reach ANY goals, big or small. I don't have any CC/mods. I own almost every expansion/game/stuff pack. My autonomy has always been set to OFF. I've tried selecting the option that deactivates the eco expansion's impact on gameplay but that didn't seem to solve it either. I've even tried having my sims repeal certain NAPs through the gameplay... to no avail.

Since I downloaded Eco, I usually sit down to play and last about 20 minutes before I'm ready to pull my hair out because I feel like I'm constantly chasing my sims around the house trying to get them to finish a task. Maybe I'm too power-hungry, but I don't want my sim to do ANYTHING unless I tell them to. And I especially don't want them to stop doing something I commanded them to do... to do pushups or bake a darn cake.

Frankly, if I could easily figure out how to do so (if it's even possible), I'd completely uninstall the eco expansion. My gameplay came to a screeching halt when I downloaded it.

@ethanwouldtulsa I'm in the same boat. I really wish they would fix this asap. It's getting tiring trying to keep my sim on track.

Sims broken autonomy when doing normal things

★ Novice

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.65.70.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of them
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Doing anything.
What happens when the bug occurs? My sims stop what they are doing and immediately start working out (push ups or stretching) and then they forget what they were doing and start doing something else.
What do you expect to see? My sims to keep doing what they are doing instead of stopping every 2 seconds to work out.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. I've tried many mods to fix their autonomy with activities they want to do. I've used MCCC to actually stop them from doing said activities and it does not seem to work at all.

I have no current NAPS for eco active. With Cas.fulledite mode you can appeal instantly to anything on the neighbourhood. I am having a mental breakdown and I have uninstalled my game to reinstall it without the eco lifestlye pack and see if its base or just this pack that is causing trouble.

This happens to my sim no matter what I have her to do, It is so annoying. Just now she got off the exercize machine just to stretch. They really dropped the ball with this one. Makes me afraid to buy any more expansions.

I have the same problem. I have 8 sims in my household and I'm trying to do the Legacy Challenge. But this bug is making it almost impossible. My sims keep doing push ups or stretch no matter what task I gave them. They are constantly hungry, smelly, in desperate need of a toilet, and dead tired because they stop everything I tell them to do for push-ups and stretches.
