[OPEN] Sims won't meet coworkers with Socialize with Coworkers action [ Edited ]

Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.66.139.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Everything except Star Wars
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Send sim to work, choose socialize with coworkers interaction.
What happens when the bug occurs? Sims do not gain friendship and add coworkers to met sims.
What do you expect to see? When my sim is at work and I choose interact with coworkers, I expect them to meet coworkers and add new sims for potential friendships.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I know sims used to actually meet coworkers with the "Socialize with Coworkers" action while at work. My sims are not meeting any new sims. I have done this in multiple households with multiple careers and my sims are not meeting anyone new. Children and teens will still make new friends at school, but adult/YA sims will not meet coworkers.

I have MCCC and a couple bug fixes from LittleMissSam installed.

Recently I started a new save in Mt.Komorebi, I had my sim join the gardener career. At first, I thought it'd be fine, it'd be a way for her to meet new people and make friends, it's how my sims have made friends in the past anyway. So I send her to work and select for her to "socialise with co-workers" the day goes by and she meets no one. No big deal I thought, can happen from time to time, so I repeat the same thing the next day, still met no one, still figuring that the game just didn't want her to meet anyone, I ignored it, but by the time the third day rolls around she still hasn't met anyone at her work.

Getting a bit suspicious, I decided to create a bunch of random sims and assign them to work as gardeners, before switching back to my original household. I send her to work and select for her to meet her co-workers and low and behold, she meets all eight of the new NPC's I had created.

Now I'm not overly sure if this is indeed a bug, but I figured I'd report it anyway since I found it odd that there were no NPC sims assigned to be employed in that career path when I've played it in the past and have encountered NPC's employed in that field.

This happens to me too. I started wondering if I was misremembering this (the ability to meet co-workers through work) from previous sims games (TS3).

Had this problem when I had all the packs installed. Problem persists when I only have base game with and without MCCC.

Trying to play a legacy with meeting / marrying only coworkers. Don’t think that’s going to happen. Blergh.

I'm actually having this happen for the first time myself. I thought the same that others have that at first it was just a couple days of not meeting anyone and eventually they would meet someone, but now it's been a year in-game and nothing. I may have to scrap this save unfortunately.

I have the same bug. It didn't occure before, and now I have restarted to play (it's been maybe two years) and now, my sims can't meet coworkers or classmates... 

Hope it will be fixed soon. I tried to start a new save file, it didn't work.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? This is found by making your sim going to work and trying to have them socialise with coworkers
What happens when the bug occurs? Nothing happens. I go to work and select “socialise with coworkers” and the work day goes on as normal. When highlighted it states that my sim is “socialising with coworkers”
What do you expect to see? I expect pop ups stating the coworkers I’ve met and then new people to be added to the relationships section.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.

Hello! 

This is my first time posting to the forum. I’ve tried googling answers but could only find old threads with no resolutions. 
I’m unable to meet coworkers which makes starting out as a Young Adult very lonely! 

I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this bug or have any advice? Thank you
